I’ll be speaking about some surprising early precursors of digital sound machines at this Norwegian edition of the literary festival dedicated to sound and music. Off the Page is curated by The Wire and Off The Page Oslo is in partnership with nyMusikk.
The full programme is to be confirmed but will include Jenny Hval, Arto Lindsay in conversation; David Grubbs on sound art, Marcus O’Dair discussing his biography of Robert Wyatt and Savage Pencil on music and underground comics. The festival includes an independent music market, film screenings, a music journalism workshop and more.
