Rocket Lolly

Teviot Bristo Square, Edinburgh, EH8 9AJ, UK

Time

TBD

On Saturday 6 April, I’m teaming up with my fellow Spacedogs and Edinburgh’s resident retro futurists Project Moonbase for another Rocket Lolly. This is an evening of peculiar and rarely seen vintage British science films, many accompanied live by Spacedog, plus a DJ set from Project Moonbase, your MCs for the night.

Rocket Lolly is packed with gems from the archives. We have 1960s infrasonic terrors, parapsychology experiments – and a vision of the ‘future’ (1955) made in 1935. And the evening includes an eerily prescient description of a world dependent on a giant computer network, filmed in 1960.

This event takes place in Teviot, a cabaret venue with a bar, for the Edinburgh Science Festival.
