A sound and video collage for this large video triptych showing an astounding dance from 1804 in which female mill workers copied the sounds and actions of the factory machines.
This piece has been created in collaboration with clog dancer and theatre historian Caroline Radcliffe and was converted into a large-scale video triptych by film maker Jon Harrison. Designed to tour around industrial sites and museums, this striking new installation was funded by Arts Council England with extra support from the University of Birmingham.
